Wednesday July 6th

Wednesday July 6th

Nicholas and I have to get up early and be downtown for 8 AM to do our food health safety it's been a kid course at the stampede grounds. After riding the train and taking a while to find the actual location. The one hour session was over and we went to check out both the booths that we were working for stampede. Nicholas his booth was fairly straightforward with making little bread desserts to quote with icing sugar or cinnamon. I presume he would be extremely busy as it is the only food booth in the middle of all the displays.
We left and went outdoors to meet Kevin and Tracy at my barbeque booth. With it being one of the only food vendors at the back of the tent, it was going to be an extremely busy year prepping food and meet for 11 days.
Since we were already near downtown, we caught the train and headed to the core to do some shopping. Nicholas would need some longer shorts to cover his knees and a new pair of jeans for work so we went shopping at the bay and gap to find them. We were successful then went for an 8 block walk to meet Krista for lunch at Centennial Place. It was extremely loud and busy and made me appreciate my job even more. We walked Krista back to work, caught the train so and headed home to relax for a while after our busy morning. Nicholas did some gaming while I watch some television and did some yard work for a couple of hours. We had supper and watch some television had a pretty mellow evening for a change.
