Last day of work for the 2015/2016 school year! Wow- where did that year fly? We had a couple meetings in the morning then did a complete overhaul of the math and science storerooms moving all the math manipulatives to a new storeroom and freeing up some major space for the science materials that were jammed into the smallest storeroom imanigeable. Sort of got the PE storeroom organized a bit until everyone dropped off numerous bags of materials so it will be a busy August getting it tuned up.
Noon arrived and there was still much organizing to do. Left at 1 pm and was graciously invited out to lunch with with the Division 1 teachers. We got caught up on a few things before bidding everyone farewell for the summer.
I headed over to Southcentre Mall and did some shopping for a bit. I hit Safeway and stocked up on groceries for the week and rolled home to start making supper and clean the house.
After supper we watched some television and relaxed.
A pretty exciting busy day to kick off our epic summer 2016!
